After visiting about a dozen different used book stores, I was able to find some very rare books with great pictures and information regarding the immediate surrounding buildings and the history that revolves around Peace Park.

im doing an urban analysis on place de la paix (marché st-laurent) and i can’t find any pictures of the evolution (i only have one of the market)
could you refer me the book regarding the immediate surrounding buildings and the history that revolves around Peace Park?!

My advice would be to research the information and pictures your looking for in the Montréal City Achieves. There is only some historical information in the above-mentioned book that pertains to the old Red Light District in which Peace Park resides. The photos of the buildings surrounding the park are also available in other books taken from different angles, all which can easily be found at the BANQ in the the Red Light District section. There is no one book covering the history of Peace Park that is why the documentary is being made.
